Ardbrook will soon be launching its new product to handle the requirements and controls imposed by the new SEPA standard for transacting both Credit Transfers (SCT) and Direct Debits (SDD). Our new EFT product for handling transactions under the SEPA schemes will be called “DEFT”.
Key features of our new DEFT product will include
- Conversion of Sort Code and Account Number to BIC and IBAN
- Generation of SCT and SDD files in XML format
- Generation of a Unique Mandate Reference (UMR) for each Mandate
- Ability to attach and retrieve Mandate related documents
- Handling First, Recurring, Final and One Off transactions based on the status of the Mandate and the date since its last transaction.
- Ability to process electronic “R” transactions in the event of Rejects, Refusals or Refunds etc.
We’ve been working on our DEFT product for over a year now. We have successfully tested SEPA SCT and SDD files with a number of the major Banking Groups in Ireland and so, are well on the way to having a great DEFT product to replace our current PayCE software. Contact us sepa@ardbrook.ie
